We’ve been lucky enough to have our projects featured in numerous motor-sports publications (including a couple of front-covers!). On this page we’ll document any such media coverage, so we recommend adding this page to your “Favourites” as it will be updated from time to time..
Practical Performance Car, who’ve covered the build twice so far, the first was an introduction to the car and the team and appeared on 27th March 2014, we made the front cover, the first time in their history that a car that was currently under construction had made the front cover, the second article was about our unique engine. That appeared in April 2014, with a great response. The third instalment is released on the 25th June 2015. This magazine will be following the whole build of the car, the testing and our trip to the Nurburgring.
Speedhunters, The first main feature appeared on the 2nd September 2014, that proved to be their third most popular feature last year. The second Feature, which specialised in the engine, along with an update on the car appeared on 25th March 2015. These features are great and the on-line magazine really tries hard to promote the partners and sponsors of the project! We have great feedback from the partners, saying they have received increased interest in their products after the articles.
Motorsport News, they carried out two features after the great Autosport International Show 2105, published on the 18th January 2015. They have been in touch to propose a feature with their test driver and BTCC driver Andrew Jordan (2013 Champion) turning a few laps in, once the car is finished.
Autosport Magazine, they also carried out a feature on the car after the Autosport International Show, this too was published on the 18th January 2015.
Race Engine Technology Magazine, This magazine is aimed at the serious Engine Designers, Builders, Manufactures, along with the companies that supply parts for these top motorsport engines. We were very proud to have own custom V8 engine featured amongst the very best in motorsport engineering. The magazine was released on 20th May 2015.
Turnology.com, carried out an on-line feature of the car and the story as of December 2014. Read the article here!
Facebook, we have our own Facebook page following the whole build of both the car and the engine, we post usually three times a week, Sharing news, updates, what we are up to with the design and development of parts. We are also putting together some features on the technical partners that have supported this project. During the build we have achieved over 16,000 likes, which is a magnificent following!
The Footman James Classic Car Show in Manchester September 2104, 9,800 visitors came to the show, with many calling in over the two days, to look over the car. We had the car on its own stand, handing out “hero cards” that we had printed for the event, carrying images and information about the car, along with logo’s of all the sponsors and technical partners on the car.
Autosport International Show 2015, We attended all 4 days of the show representing our partners Jenvey Dynamics, 2 days in the Engineering hall, two days in the main Motorsport Hall. We had a new design of Hero Cards to hand out over the four days and we were inundated with people attending show, who were interested in the project. We displayed the car with all of the driver’s side bodywork removed, the wheels removed, so people could see the amount of work that has gone into the build. An amazing response and we picked up some technical partners while we were there.
